ThinkFilm gets a Loverboy
ThinkFilm has acquired North American distribution rights for Loverboy, starring Kyra Sedgwick and directed by her husband Kevin Bacon. Hannah Shakespeare adapted the screenplay from the novel by Victoria Redel and centers on a woman who wants the love of a child, but no husband to go along with it. She has an anonymous sexual liaison, becomes pregnant, and gives birth. She moves to a charming town to raise the child, but once he reaches school age, things begin to go wrong.
