Jordan Headed for Carnival Row
New Line Cinema has set Neil Jordan (The Crying Game; The Good Thief) to direct the fantasy film Killing on Carnival Row. He will also do a rewrite on the script, which was originally written by Travis Beacham. It takes place in a Victorian city where humans, faeries, elves and vampires all live together, and a detective is tracking a serial killer.

New Line goes to Carnival
New Line has acquired the spec script Killing on Carnival Row from newcomer Travis Beacham. The story is a thriller that takes place in the future and is set in a fictional city called the Burgue. Both humans and other creatures live in the city, and a serial killer is targeting the creatures.
