Venus appeals to Grant
Darren Grant (Diary of a Mad Black Woman) has signed to direct Venus Kincaid for Fox 2000. The comic adaptation of the online animated series from the Love brothers will center on an African-American government agent who is suddenly changed into a teenage girl, but keeps all of her super-sleuthing skills. Lori Lakin is writing the screenplay.
