Dimension gets Castlevania
Dimension Films has acquired North American distribution rights to the recently announced movie adaptation of the Castlevania video game. Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil) will write and direct the story about a family of vampire hunters who must battle Dracula.

Castlevania ready for big screen
Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil) is set to adapt and direct a movie version of the videogame Castlevania. The story looks at the origins of Dracula and the efforts of the Belmont clan to slay him. They're a vampire-slaying family who soon finds that they may have become the last hope for humankind.
