Universal goes back to Lagoon
Breck Eisner (Sahara) is set to direct the Universal Pictures remake of the classic monster flick The Creature from the Black Lagoon. Gary Ross, son of Arthur A. Ross, writer of the original film, is producing and wrote the screenplay for the update. In the 1954 movie, Gill Man terrorized archaeologists who were exploring in the Amazon.
