FilmFour heavy On Beauty
FilmFour has purchased the rights to the Zadie Smith novel On Beauty, with Scott Rudin and Alison Owen producing. The book was shortlisted for the 2005 Man Booker Prize (losing out eventually to John Banville's The Sea), and centers on two professors who have a bitter rivalry in the world of academia. Despite this, various members of their families have a lot of interaction in each others' lives.
