Wedding Crashers director gets deal
David Dobkin, who directed Wedding Crashers, has sold a pitch that he worked up along with his producing partner Andrew Panay to Warner Bros. The as-yet untitled film will be written by the team of Tim Rasmussen and Vince Di Meglio, and Dobkin is set to direct. The movie centers on three sweet Southern girls who bring their respective boyfriends home to meet their tough dad over the holidays. The guys happen to be ethnically diverse - one is Arab, one is Jewish and the other is an African-American.
