Hoskins Headed for Doomsday
Bob Hoskins has joined the cast of writer-director Neil Marshall's Doomsday. The action thriller is about attempts to halt the spread of a lethal virus. Hoskins will play a police officer who monitors the progress of the team that is trying to find a cure. Rhona Mitra is also lined up to star in the film.

Mitra Ready for Doomsday
Rhona Mitra (Boston Legal; The Practice) has chosen to star in director Neil Marshall's (The Descent) Doomsday, a futuristic action thriller for Rogue Pictures. Marshall also wrote the story, set about thirty years after a lethal virus wiped out much of a country. After the virus - known as the Reaper - appears in another country, an elite group (led by Mitra) is tasked with finding a cure. But the group finds themself shut off from the rest of the world.

Rogue ready for Doomsday
Rogue Pictures will work alongsid Crystal Sky Pictures on Doomsday, the next project for writer/director Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers). The movie will be set in northern England and Scotland and will be a futuristic thriller with plenty of action and political themes. Plot details are being kept under the hat.
