WB develops Species
Warner Bros. has hired Kurt Sutter, co-executive producer of The Shield, to write Species X. The movie will center on a police detective who realizes he might be from another world. At the same time, WB Interactive Entertainment will develop a video game to be titled The Condemned: Criminal Origins, which will be based on the Species X concept. Producer Basil Iwanyk has described the project as having elements of both Terminator and Highlander.
