Myers to play Keith Moon
Mike Myers is set to play Keith Moon in the biopic of the Who's drummer. Roger Daltrey, the Who's lead singer, is producing along with Bill Gerber and Nigel Sinclair of Spitfire Pictures. Moon was known for his wildness both on and off the stage. When performing, he and guitarist Pete Townshend would smash their instruments. Moon played hard as well, destroying hotel rooms and cars as he lived an incredibly hard life. In the end, such rough treatment of his body caught up to him, and he passed away in 1978 from a prescription drug overdose.
