Universal Turns the Screw
Universal will create a big-screen adaptation of the Henry James classic book The Turn of the Screw. The movie will be called The Turning, and will be adapted by Chad and Carey Hayes as a screenplay. The creepy story centers on a caretaker who has been hired to take care of two orphans at their family's estate. When she arrives at their home, she realizes that the children may be being influenced by malevolent beings from their past.
