Rudin goes to Bar
Scott Rudin has acquired rights to the J.R. Moehringer memoir The Tender Bar in a heavy bidding war. Moehringer, a Pulizer Prize winner, has received glowing reviews for the book thus far. The story centers around Moehringer's coming-of-age, as he grew up without a father, but found surrogates at the Manhasset pub where his uncle was the bartender.
