Fishburne tells Landlord's Tale
Laurence Fishburne has acquired the rights to the Gammy L. Singer novel The Landlord's Tale. The book centers on the smooth-talking Amos Brown, a man with a rough-and-tumble past. When he inherits a couple of brownstones, though, he goes straight. Even so, trouble still finds him when a skeleton is found in the basement of one of the buildings and also when he runs afoul of a West Indian drug lord.
