Ledger, Penn to replace Farrell
Writer-director Terrence Malick may have found big name replacements for Colin Farrell, who pulled out of starring in Malick's Tree of Life, a complex drama. Both Heath Ledger and Sean Penn are in talks to star in the film, which is expected to begin filming in March.

Malick goes to Tree of Life
Terrence Malick is set to direct Tree of Life from his own screenplay. Colin Farrell is currently in consideration for a lead role. Some of the film will be shot in India.
