V.C. Andrews novel to big screen
Merv Griffin Entertainment will join forces with Big Headz Entertainment and Lexi Dog Media to adapt V.C. Andrews' novel Rain for the big screen. Andrew Neiderman, who occasionally ghost wrote for Andrews, handled the screenplay. Robert Loggia has signed on to star. The movie centers on a musically talented young African-American girl who goes to live with white relatives she never knew she had after her parents are murdered.
