Picturehouse ready for Starter for Ten
HBO Films will join Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman's Playton to produce Starter for Ten. Picturehouse will be the distributor on the project, which will star James McAvoy and be directed by Tom Vaughan. The coming-of-age tale will center on a working-class student who goes through various travails at his first year at an upper-class private university in England. The movie is based on a book by David Nicholls, who also wrote the screenplay.
