Lions Gate is a Machine
Lions Gate has acquired the rights to the James Halperin thriller The Truth Machine and has set Ron Shusett (co-creator of the Alien franchise) and George Lee Marshall to write the screenplay. The movie will look at what would happen to the world after the construction of a perfect lie detector. The character who invents the machine commits a crime, then must submit to his own creation.
