Disney goes back to Aladdin

Disney has purchased the rights to the Bill Kelly pitch for a modern-day take on the classic Aladdin story. Adam Shankman is tentatively slated to direct, depending on the direction the final screenplay takes. The movie will be live action with an updated take, but otherwise, story details are being kept secret.
