The WeinsteinCo. has picked up movie rights to Jeff Abbott's thriller Panic, which will be released in bookstores today. The movie looks at a young documentary filmmaker named Evan Casher who must evade a dangerous spy ring when his mother is murdered. He soon learns that many pieces that have made up his life have been fabricated.
