More cast for Local Color
Ron Perlman, Charles Durning and Diana Scarwid have signed on to co-star in George Gallo's Local Colar. The movie already has a cast that includes Trevor Morgan, Ray Liotta, Armin Mueller-Stahl and Samantha Mathis. The movie is based on true events in Gallo's life and centers on a talented though troubled art student who becomes friends with an elderly painter who has given up on both art and life.

Cast set for Local Color
Ray Liotta, Trevor Morgan and Armin Mueller-Stahl are set to star in the coming-of-age drama Local Color, an independently financed film and semi-autobiographical account of George Gallo's life as an impressionist painter in 1974. Gallo, who previously wrote such films as Midnight Run and Bad Boys, is producing, directing and writing.
Morgan will play the young man who is trying to develop his artistic hopes despite being encumbered by an abusive family. Liotta will play his father, and Mueller-Stahl will star as a Russian painter who serves as the young man's mentor.
