Hood heads to Bly
Sean Hood is set to develop the psychological thriller Nellie Bly for Sobini Films. The movie based in part on an article by Bly, who was one of the first female investigative journalists, working in 1880s New York. Her article was called 10 Days in a Mad House and tells how she faked insanity so that she could go undercover as an inmate at Blackwell's Island, a women's asylum that allowed no admittance to outsiders.
