Paramount is Dope
Paramount has acquired movie rights to the upcoming mystery novel Dope, by Sarah Gran. The book will look at the underbelly of the New York drug culture that existed in the 1950s. It centers on a former junkie who is hired to find a former Barnard student who dropped out of school to live with her drug dealer boyfriend. The book will be published in January.
