Universal Pictures has acquired rights to the spec script Book of Leo, and has attached Seann William Scott to star. The script is the first sale for writer Joe Lovero, who up until now had been working as an auto claims representative in New York City. He had tried to break into the business sooner, but found himself having to take a job he didn't want for income. The movie centers on a man who is not at all happy with the way his life has turned out. As a result, he tries to pack in everything he ever wanted to do into one week before he turns 30.
