Screen Gems gets The Undergraduate
Screen Gems has acquired rights to the campus comedy script The Undergraduate from Eric Champnella (Mr. 3000). Champnella also has a deal in place to direct the film. The movie centers on a high school nobody who pretends to be a college student. As he does so, he becomes hugely popular amongst his campus cohorts, even as he must slip away secretly to complete his high school studies.
