Paramount lives Biblically
Paramount and Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment have acquired movie rights to the A.J. Jacobs book The Year of Living Biblically: One Man's Humble Quest to Obey the Bible As Literally As Possible. The book will be released in fall of 2006 and centers on Jacobs as he immerses himself in the rules of both the Old and New Testaments. He is Esquire Magazine's editor at large and previously wrote The Know-It-All: One Man's Humble Quest to Become the Smartest Person in the World. That book had him spending a year reading the entire Encyclopedia.
