Warner Bros. gets French comedy
Warner Bros. has picked up remake rights for the French comedy Apres Vous, setting it as a starring vehicle for Billy Crystal. The original film centers on the head waiter at a Paris bistro who runs into a stranger who is on the verge of committing suicide. He stops the man from ending his own life, and then the two men become friends. Of course, nothing is easy, and the formerly suicidal gentleman is turning the waiter's life topsy-turvy.
