Gold Circle goes for Rockdown
Gold Circle Films, the indie production company responsible for My Big Fat Greek Wedding and White Noise, has purchased a pitch from Christian Gudegast and Tucker Tooley. Rockdown centers on a new suburban street fighting culture called MMA, or Mixed Martial Arts. Gudegast will make his directorial debut on the film. He is an aficionado of a form of street fighting known as grappling, and started boxing at age seven. Gudegast is the son of actor Eric Braeden, who plays the infamous Victor on the soap opera Young and the Restless.
