Disney sings Tiny Dancer
Disney has acquired the pitch Tiny Dancer from writers Franc Reyes and Neal Gumpel. Reyes, who also was behind the camera for Empire, will direct. The movie will be based on the true story of Roberto Cisneros, a Mexican-American ballet prodigy from Oakland, CA who faced serious challenges - both personal and family-related - when he was discovered as a young boy.
