Mann goes to the Valley
Gabriel Mann is set to star in the indie feature Valley in the Heart's Delight. Tim Boxell will direct the film, which will also feature Pete Postlethwaite and Bruce McGill. The story is based on true events, centering on two lynchings that occurred in the early 1930s in reaction to the kidnapping of the son of a prominent local businessman. Mann will play a young reporter, and Postlethwaite will portray the publisher of the local paper. Miles Murphy wrote the screenplay.
