Myers to Survive Uprising
Mike Myers is now attached to star in Paramount's How to Survive a Robot Uprising. He will play the lead character, a man who has the job of warning people against the growing robot population and researching ways to stop the robots from taking over.

Paramount gets a Robot Uprising
Paramount has acquired the film rights to Daniel H. Wilson's How to Survive a Robot Uprising: Tips on Defending Yourself Against the Coming Rebellion. The book will be published in November, and the studio made the purchase based on the pitch from writing team Thomas Lennon and Ben Garant (The Pacifier). Wilson wrote the book while working on his doctorate at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University. A lot of the information is based on real principles of robotics. Sections in the book will include "Know Your Enemy," "How to Treat a Laser Wound," and "How to Pose as a Humanoid Robot."
