New Line has Rhythm
British novelist Mark Burnell will adapt his thriller The Rhythm Section for New Line Cinema. The book was published in 1999 and was the first in a series of books about the lady assassin Stephanie Patrick. The first book follows her as she investigates a car crash that killed her parents and brother. An executive at New Line compared the story to a "female Bourne Identity".
