Warner Bros. goes for presidential divorce
Warner Bros. is partnering with Imagine Entertainment for The People's House, to be produced by Brian Grazy. The comedy is from screenwriter Stacy Sherman, and centers on a U.S. president who is caught philandering. The First Lady kicks him out of the house and files for divorce. Since the couple has very little with regards to assets other than the potential for future income from memoirs and speaking engagements, the First Lady gets custody of the White House.
Warner Bros. and Imagine Entertainment are teaming up on "The People's
House," a Stacy Sherman-scripted comedy about a first couple divorce
that puts the White House in play as a marital asset. Brian Grazer
will produce. The most powerful leader in the world must sleep in his childhood bedroom, going to the Oval Office only for work.
