Berg and Universal go for fantasy
Peter Berg is set to direct Bran Mak Morn for Universal Pictures. The film will be an adaptation of the Robert E. Howard fantasy novel. The author also wrote such stuff as Conan the Barbarian and King Kull. The story blends historical and fantasy with the title character, a king of ancient Britain, putting together an alliance with supernatural troops in an effort to battle the tough forces of the Roman Empire. John Romano is writing the screenplay.
