Sony goes back to the Road House
Sony will produce a sequel to the 1989 MGM film Road House, which starred Patrick Swayze as a super bouncer who is hired to tame a rough bar. Scott Ziehl will direct. At this point, it's not precisely certain whether Sony will release the movie through one of its distribution arms into theaters, or if it will go straight-to-video. Johnathon Schaech (Forsaken) is in talks to star, and Miles Chapman is handling the screenplay.
