Sony still knows What You Did Last Summer
Sony is moving forward with another sequel to the 1997 horror flick I Know What You Did Last Summer, though it's currently unclear which distribution arm will handle the project or if it may even go direct-to-video. The movie does not have a director or any cast attached at this point, but Michael Weiss is writing the screenplay. The original cast members, which included Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr., will not be returning for another round. The movie will follow a group of teenagers who are seemingly being avenged one year after a Fourth of July prank turned deadly.
