Hand Picked Films gets a Black Belt
Hand Picked Films has picked up rights to the children's book The Black Belt Club, by Dawn Barns. The Scholastic graphic novel series centers on a globe-trotting, multi-cultural karate club. The series is set to be turned into a franchise that will include an animated TV series, direct-to-DVD films, video games, and feature-length films for theatrical release.
