Lions Gate goes for Highlander
Lions Gate Films has acquired North American distribution rights to Highlander: The Journey Continues, the fifth film in the Highlander franchise. Davis Panzer, who produces the Highlander films, is planning three new Highlander movies over the next two years. Adrian Paul returns as the immortal Scottish swordsman Duncan MacLeod, and Bret Leonard directs.
