Roodt seeks out Prey
Darrell James Roodt, who directed Cry, the Beloved Country, is set to helm the indie film Prey. Bridget Moynahan will star in the story of an American family that goes to Africa on holiday. While there, they become lost in a mazelike game reserve and find themselves stalked by savage lions. The screenplay was written by Roodt, Beau Bauman and Jeff Wadlow. The movie has been compared to Jaws in the African bush, according to Variety.
