Wedding Olympics head for big screen
Robert Cort. Prods. has made a preemptive purchase of the romantic comedy pitch Wedding Olympics, from writers Erica Rothschild and Bronwyn Garrity. The movie is based on Garrity's upcoming real-life nuptials, which will involve the families of the bride and groom competing in a variety of physical games to decide which last name the couple will take. Garrity and Rothschild have been best friends since junior high school.
