Paramount Classics goes Beneath
In their first joint co-production, Paramount Classics and MTV Films will join forces on the horror film Beneath. The movie will star Nora Zehetner and Matthew Settle, and is directed by newcomer Dagen Merrill from a screenplay he co-wrote with Kevin Burke. The movie centers on a young woman named Christy, who is haunted by her sister's disfigurement in an accident where Christy was the driver. She is torn up by visions of the accident, and when she returns home, she finds that the things she was seeing were both real and foreshadowing of the future.
