Paramount gets Valiant
Paramount Pictures and MTV Films have acquired rights to the Holly Black novel Valiant and will adapt it into a major motion picture. The recently-published book tells the story of a 17-year-old runaway who meets and makes friends with some of the inhabitants of New York City's subways, discovering that a lot of residents of the city are actually magical species trying to make their way in our world.
