Light and Aiello star in trilogy
Judith Light and Danny Aiello are set to star in The Shoemaker/A Broken Sole, one of three shorts in an untitled feature film from director Antony Marsellis and written by Susan Charlotte. The trilogy of shorts deals with themes concerning 9/11. Light and Aiello will play characters living in Hell's Kitchen. He is a shoemaker who is wanting to close shop early, while she is a NYU professor who needs a heel fixed. Their day is changed by the events that take place on the morning of 9/11. The other vignettes in the film are called The Cabbie/I Don't Trust Your Hand and Run, I've Got to Love/Confessions of a Dyslexic Lover.
