Writer takes a Detour
Paramount Pictures has hired Joel Fields to adapt the screenplay version of James Siegel's thriller Detour. The movie will center on a couple who is going to Columbia to adopt a baby. Once there, they are kidnapped by guerillas and the husband is forced into service as a drug mule.
