Dunst set for Iraq film
Kirsten Dunst is set to portray 28-year-old human relief worked Marla Ruzicka in an as-yet untitled film about the young woman's life. While working to provide assistance to needy residents of Iraq, Ruzicka was killed by a suicide bomber. She founded the Campaign for Innocent Victims of Conflict and was able to raise $28 million for casualties of war in other countries.

Paramount picks up war story
Paramount Pictures has acquired the rights to the life story of American relief worker Marla Ruzicka, including a soon-to-be published book. Ruzicka was a 28-year-old aid worker who worked in Iraq and founded the Campaign for Innocent Victims of Conflict. She was an advocate for Iraqi and Afghanistani civilians who were either injured or killed during the war on terror, demanding compensation from the U.S. for their healthcare expenses and loss. Jennifer Abrahamson is currently finishing the book, the first half of which she wrote with Ruzicka. Ruzicka was killed in an attack by a suicide bomber in Iraq.
