Weinsteins go for an Impossible Adventure

The Weinsteins have picked up the family fantasy pitch The Impossible Adventures of Phineas Roone and have set it up to be developed through their new WeinsteinCo. The pitch came from sibling writers Adam and Melanie Wilson and centers on a 13-year-old boy who goes out looking to find the author of a series of fantasy novels when the writer announces a contest saying that whoever locates him will win a prize. As the boy progresses on his search, he begins to discover that the fantastical things that happened in the books are actually quite real.
