Davis Films is under a Spell
Davis Films has acquired the English-language remake rights to the Korean horror film Bunshinsaba - Ouija Board. It will be renamed The Spell.
The original was directed by Ahn Byeong-gi and centers on a schoolgirl who has the power to make her enemies commit suicide. Samuel Hadida, who runs Davis Films, intends to specifically target teen audiences and infuse the film with North American flavor. He's hoping the movie will potentially lead to a franchise.
