Writers find success with Silver
Vine Entertainment has acquired the spec script Silver thanks to its newcomer screenwriters taking out an ad in the trades to advertise their hard work. Chrisanna Northrup and Halle Eavelyn wrote the story, which is based on Northrup's own horrible experiences with a nanny. The tale intertwines three story lines that center on loopholes in the U.S. legal system that expose a family to danger and allow a criminal to be at large. They ran their marketing plug the day after the Academy Awards, and it read, "True Dramatic Thriller -- she's sweet, she's beautiful, she's a conniving murderer, and she's watching your children."
