McGregor chooses next role(s)
Ewan McGregor is set to star in an untitled film written and directed by fellow Scot Peter Capaldi. In the comedy, McGregor will play four parts - a 1930s Hollywood star, his stand-in, and both of the 18th century characters that they are portraying during the movie shoot. The story centers on the shooting of an epic movie about the Jacobite rebellion of 1745. During that uprising, Scottish forces that were loyal to Bonnie Prince Charles attempted to overthrow the English rulers. During the filming, the main star goes missing, leading producers to have to scramble to find a replacement and ask an extra to fill in. The results are...surprising.
