Kidman goes to Wasington
Nicole Kidman is in talks to star in Wasington, the final film in Lars Von Triers controversial American trilogy. Kidman starred in Dogville and was originally slated to topline all three films, but she was unavailable for filming on Manderlay. At that point, she was replaced with Bryce Dallas Howard. Von Trier is looking to make the third film work in a way such that both actresses can star in the final piece of the trilogy, sharing the role. Von Trier is still working on the screenplay, and current plans have the movie waiting to go into production until 2007.
