Paramount climbs into Crawlspace
Paramount Pictures has hired Stephen Susco (The Grudge) to adapt the Herbert Lieberman novel Crawlspace for the big screen. The book was originally published in 1971 and tells the story of a couple that has retired to the country. When they ask a shy young man to stay for dinner after he has come to repair their heater, strange things begin to occur. Ultimately, they discover that he has taken up residence in their crawlspace. The story was turned into a TV movie in 1972.
